Kelly Osbourne is the face of Madonna’s Material Girl collection this season! And I must say,
she looks amazing!
I love the bright colors and edgy style to this line and can really see myself wearing the
majority of the pieces. Although the collection was launched for Americas MACY stores,
Canadians will not have to miss out on the opportunity to grab these garments because as
of February 23rd Madonna’s collection arrived at The Bay! :)

What else caught my attention? Kelly’s nails!
For those of you who read my posts regularly you know that I am completely over the top
OBSESSED with leopard print.
On a Wal-Mart trip yesterday to grab new polish I noticed that they are selling leopard print
glue on nails. To be honest I think the idea of glue on nails are silly, why not just paint the design
yourself?! So that’s what I did!
Want leopard print nails?
It’s not as tricky to paint as it looks!
All you’ll need are your favorite color nail polishes and an art deco brush.
I chose lime green as my base color and hot pink for the inside coloring of the leopard spots which are
outlined in black.
Step 1: Paint base coat desired color.
Step 2: Next is the inside of the leopard spots. Make little dots all over your finger nail and let dry.
Step 3: Now take your art deco brush and paint two little “c” like shapes around the dots. This will
give the illusion of leopard spots.
Step 4: Apply a top coat and your finished!
There are many perks to Spring time. One of those things is knowing that Summer is just around the
corner, another is Spring cleaning!
Okay okay… I know the cleaning part doesn’t sound all that appealing, but you may be surprised at
just how rewarding going through your wardrobe can be. Finding forgotten about t-shirts…the gold
clutch you were trying to find for months…the necklace that you’ve only wore once and misplaced…
items that you don’t even remember buying… And what’s the best part of all this? You didn’t spend
a cent!
Spring cleaning is sort of like finding hidden gems in a vintage store but without leaving the comfort
of your downtown apartment and not having to double check your bank account before springing for
a desired item.
If I still haven’t convinced you that cleaning out your closet can be a fun experience then look at it this
way: Your just removing some items so you can buy new ones-making room for future purchases ;)…
I started going through my dresser yesterday and I’ve already discovered pieces that I had completely
forgotten about. I was stoked to find an old Zara t-shirt that I loved but thought I lost long ago during
recent moving adventures from province to province. I’m not even close to finishing my Spring cleaning
process but I’m sure there will be more surprises in store at the back of my closet.
